Digital Art Digital art refers to art created
on a computer in digital form. Digital art can be computer
generated art or taken from another source, digital
cameras, scanned photographs or images drawn using vector
graphics. In an expanded sense, digital art is a term
applied to contemporary art that use methods of media or

Computer Art Computer art is art in which
computers play a role in the production or display of the
artwork. Computer art can be an image, sound, video,
animation, CD-ROM, DVD, videogame or a web site. |
New media New media is the marriage of mediated
communications technologies with digital computers. Can
also be understood as the exploration of social change associated
with the evolution and cultural adoption of new forms of
media. Also considered synonymous with internet studies,
the study of "New Media". Old media, media which involve
analogue processes, are typewriters, vinyl record albums,
magnetic tapes etc. |

Electronic art Electronic art is art which
makes use of electronic media or, more broadly, refers to
technology and/or electronic media. It is related to information
art, new media art, video art, interactive art, internet
art, and electronic music, among others.
The term
electronic art is synonymous to computer art and digital
art. The term computer generated art are often
used for visual artworks generated by computers. Electronic
art has a broad connotation and refer to artworks that include
any type of electronic component.
